The vision of Abbie Lane Retreat Ministry is to "provide a safe place for ministers of all denominations to recharge, refresh, and renew" themselves for ministry. Our initial building project was on personal owned land in north Louisiana. God has blessed the ministry so much that we now sense a call to build in other areas. One of those areas is Mississippi. God has sent an amazing couple, Tom and Pat Smith of Hattiesburg MS to be our Operational Directors. They are now responsible for the total operations of raising funds, finding land, building facilities and establishing the ministry in Mississippi.
In order to perform any faith based ministry that serves others, money is required. Funds are required for three areas: building (capital funds), operational and personnel. Some money will be given on a one time basis, some annually, some randomly, and some monthly. No amount of money is too small or too large. Every dollar given is greatly appreciated and will be prayerfully used for the Kingdom of God. Part of our commitment is to serve ministers and their spouses totally free of charge. We are asking individuals and churches to partner with us in this God called and God envisioned ministry. All regular givers will be informed on a regular basis of what is happening in the Abbie Lane Retreat Ministry, whether of Mississippi or Louisiana.
